Client Care
Questions, answered.
Do I need an appointment to visit the atelier? +
We receive clients by appointment so that every visit has our full attention. Kindly book through the website or WhatsApp, and we will confirm a time that suits you.
What happens at the first consultation? +
An unhurried conversation about your character, lifestyle and intentions for the garment, followed by an introduction to cloth and silhouette. Allow around an hour. No commitment is expected.
How long does a bespoke garment take? +
A first commission typically requires several weeks and two to three fittings, depending on cloth availability and the construction involved. We confirm a precise timeline at your consultation, and we will always be honest about it. If you are dressing for a fixed date, a wedding for instance, we recommend beginning early.
How many fittings will I have? +
Usually two to three. Each fitting refines the balance of the garment, its shoulder, drape, length and movement, until it is exact.
Do you alter garments that were not made by MORIANO? +
Yes. We first assess the garment at the atelier, so our recommendation is honest about what the alteration can and cannot achieve. Kindly allow us to review the piece before the work is confirmed.
What should I bring to a fitting? +
Ideally, the shoes and shirt you intend to wear with the garment. They influence trouser length, collar fit and overall proportion more than most expect.
Can you make formalwear for a wedding? +
Formalwear is one of our specialties, from dinner jackets to tuxedos and ceremonial dress. We advise beginning as early as possible so the timeline never has to hurry the work.
How do I care for my garment? +
Brush after wear, rest the garment between wears, press lightly and dry clean sparingly. Specific guidance for your cloth is given at your delivery appointment, and we remain available for any question after.
How are prices determined? +
Every commission differs with cloth and construction, so investment is discussed precisely at your consultation rather than approximately on a page.
Is my information kept private? +
Discretion is fundamental to the atelier. Your details, measurements and commissions are never shared, and private appointments can be arranged with the necessary discretion.
