Our Atelier
Where garments
are given character.
The idea
True bespoke,
preserved.
MORIANO was founded to protect a discipline that is disappearing: tailoring in which the garment is created through dialogue between artisan and client, not chosen from a rail.
We begin with your character, your lifestyle and your preferences, then translate them into cloth, fit and finish. Nothing is rushed and nothing is standard.
This is what we mean by quiet luxury: no spectacle, nothing worn for show. Only proportion, cloth and care.
What guides us
Four quiet commitments.
Craftsmanship
Hand-cut patterns, hand-stitched canvas and finishing that rewards a second look.
Individuality
No house silhouette is imposed. Each garment is shaped around your posture, proportions and life.
Discretion
Private fittings, private records, private conversations. What we make for you stays between us.
Service
Refined hospitality at every appointment: unhurried, attentive and arranged around you.
The space
Designed for the fitting,
and for the conversation.
A lounge where decisions are made over coffee rather than across a counter. Velvet fitting rooms for privacy. A fabric library you can walk through. Every stage of your journey has a room of its own.

The workroom
Made here, by hand.
Behind the glass are the cutting tables, canvas and thread. Cloth is cut, canvassed and stitched on the premises, and pressed by hand at the bench.

The fabric library
Cloth from the houses
tailors trust.
Our library carries eight houses, chosen for hand, drape and how they wear in Doha. Each has a character of its own; we help you find the one that suits yours.

Grandi & Rubinelli
Italy · 1992
A boutique shirting mill, made entirely in Italy. Exceptional fibres, specialised textures and close quality control.
For the most exclusive shirting.
Weight
For Doha we usually begin between 220 and 300 grams: light enough to breathe, with enough body to drape. Heavier cloths are kept for winter and for cooler climates.
Super numbers
A Super number describes the fineness of the wool fibre, not the quality of the cloth. Super 110s to 130s give the best balance of softness and resilience for daily wear; 150s and above are softer and more delicate, and better kept for occasion suits.
Weave
Open weaves such as fresco, hopsack and high-twist wools, and wool-linen blends, keep a summer suit cool without losing its structure. For shirts, two-fold cottons of 100s to 140s in poplin or twill for business, and linen for the season.
